15 Struggles Anyone With Any Kind Of Hair Understands

If loose hair doesn't end up everywhere when you shower, God must be blessing you.

15 Struggles Anyone With Any Kind Of Hair Understands
Again We Say Rejoice

Women everywhere know the struggles. Your hair can be a huge blessing or a never-ending curse. Sometimes, you might have both extremes in a single day! From long hair to medium hair to short hair, it's guaranteed you'll find it everywhere but your head. And let's not even mention all the other issues that come with hair in general.

1. Your drain is constantly clogged.

And pulling the planet-sized hairball out is gag-worthy.

2. Speaking of showering, the wet hair sticks everywhere.

Every nook and cranny contains loose hair as soon as your hair gets wet.

3. It's always tangled in the carpets and rugs, which means not even the vacuum sweeps it up.

And then after countless hours spent sweeping, you eventually have to throw the rug away.

4. No matter how frequently you vacuum, there's still hair EVERYWHERE.

"Mom, I told you, I just swept before you got here. My hair sheds constantly."

5. You never have enough leave-in conditioner.

Even when you buy an XXL bottle of Schwartzkopf Moisture Kick spray conditioner, you still run out too quickly.

6. Backpack/purse straps, aka death traps.

I've lost many a strand of hair to these stupid things.

7. Chairs in classrooms are never your friend.

I can never lay my hair behind the seat, lest it is ripped out.

8. Washing clothes and towels seemingly can't get rid of the hair.

Forever sick of finding wads of hair balled up in my underwear...

9. That moment when you put on socks and tennis shoes, stand up, and suddenly feel a hair wrapped around your toes.

Hair, this is why we have such a bad relationship.

10. Thinking you've taken all the bobby pins out, but you get in the shower, start washing, and have to pull out one that you missed.

Where do I even put it? I'm standing with wet hair in a shower. If I throw it towards the counter, who knows where it may end up.

11. You might have a really good hair day, but if you try to replicate it, don't expect any of the tactics to work.

Even happens sometimes when I braid my hair.

12. Four words: tiny hotel bathroom hairdryers.

We all know the dreaded struggle.

13. The only memories of your hair that you have from your childhood are the ones in which your mom ripped your hair out while braiding.

And she always swore that you were just being a baby about it.

14. Doing your hair is basically a workout in itself.

Having to spend 45 minutes blow-drying and straightening your hair really takes a toll on your arms.

15. Using somebody else's hair products is a nightmare.

Darn those 2-in-1 shampoos.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
