For college students, the spring semester is always the hardest. Your spring break comes early and it's the only break you have before the semester ends and finals begin. You start off strong, but then time seems to drag on and on and it feels like summer will never come. Your spring semester of college seems to be worse than the senioritis that you had in high school! So, here are a couple signs that you are starting to be completely done with spring semester of college as told by one of my favorite people, Tina Belcher.

1. You start off strong for the first day back from break, determined to get on the Dean's List and finish the year strong.

2. It's January, so you're still in that mode of "I have to impress my professor."

3. Now it's the end of January and your first round of bills for the semester roll in, and after you pay them you check your bank account balance. Big mistake.

4. If it's your first year of college, you're probably sick of all the General Education classes and just want to get down to your actual major courses.

5. You stay up till almost 3 in the morning doing homework, just to wake up early to finish the last of it.

6. You wish you had someone to endure the struggles of college with, but instead you're single and working multiple jobs on top of all your schoolwork and debt.

7. When you go out to the bars after a long week of school, you barely notice how much you consume due to lack of sleep and stress of schoolwork.

8. It's time for midterms, which is the week before spring break, so you have very little motivation to study.

9. Now it's actually spring break, but you still have homework either due when you get back from break or due DURING break.

10. Your family asks how everything is going in school and you try to give them your best smile and tell them that, "Everything is going great!"

11. You return from break and realize that you only have about 7-8 weeks left, so you really need to get your ass in gear and finish the semester strong.

12. Your roommate is starting to piss you off, a sign that the semester is hitting the stressful point where your grade in a class will make or break you.

13. It's the last 5 weeks of school and you have very little motivation to go to class. Is your 11 AM really worth it? What about that 2 PM?

14. Hell Week is here and instead of putting in hours at the library, you're seeing how long you can nap before you have to be responsible.

15. Finals are over and summer has started, but you don't know what you should do with yourself because you always feel like you have to be doing something. That's what college will do to you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
