The struggle is real.

Life is full of struggles. Everyone knows that. And everyone goes through phases where they need a little help getting their life together. It happens and is nothing to be ashamed of. You just have to recognize the signs. So if you've been struggling more than normal recently, here are thirteen signs that, like me, you also need to get your life together.

1. You spend all day thinking about when you can get back in bed.

2. You don't want to go out unless you absolutely have to.

3. You've worn the same t-shirt for more than 24 hours.

4. "Are you okay?" has become a daily question asked by your friends.

5. You've said "I'm fine." so often it's lost its meaning.

6. You haven't eaten a real meal in days.

7. You've finished all the shows on Netflix...twice.

8. Coffee is your life source and no one can come in between you.

9. You don't even have the energy to do everyday tasks.

10. You have no idea what's going on in your classes...or life.

11. And being an adult terrifies you more than usual.

12. You get mad at put together people for making it look so easy.

13. Being lazy is an understatement.

14. You have no idea what you're doing...

15. ...and you have accepted it.

Life sucks sometimes, and it's okay to not know where you're going, because you're not going there alone.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
