Pinterest is such a lovely site. Pretty much anything that you want to do can be found on Pinterest. It is a great way to bond with new college friends. Relax a little before exams by making a planner together or trying a new recipe. Hey, if you don't want to make anything you can just browse too. If your lost, I have 15 of my favorite pins to share with you.

1. Don't Freak Over Finals.

I just have to post this one with exams right around the corner. We are all tired and ready for winter break and this leads to us stressing ourselves out over exams. We are so busy this time of the year that we forget to take care of ourselves.

This pin is a great one it can help remind you that there is no need to freak out.2. The Best Meditation Apps So, it may not be the year 2016 but these apps still work just fine in 2017. Pinterest is the place to go when you want to start something new but you aren't sure how to. There is someone who has taken the time to try out these apps and it saves you time in the end because there is an entire list.

2. Six Healthy Detox Water Recipes.

If you want something healthy but delicious, look up some of these pins on how to make detox waters. You will be hydrated and your taste buds will be delighted.

3. Smoothies.

If you don't want water, do not be distressed because smoothies are here. Pinterest is filled with individuals who post about health and delicious alternatives for everyone. Give one of these babies a try and you will be satisfied.

4. Weekly Meal Prep Ideas.

Maybe you get tired of the dining hall food or the restaurants available to you. Pinterest has these great ideas for weekly meal preps. The best thing about these pins is that they are flexible and you can stray away from the recipe a little bit.

5. Festive Treats.

These types of pins are my favorite because they are simple little holiday treats I can do without ruining the kitchen. If you just so happen to be one of those really talented artsy people you can find something more elaborate to make on Pinterest.

6. Time Management.

I speak from experience when I say this can be a fun thing to do. All you have to do is print out the pages and make your own customized planner. Buy a binder any size big, small, or medium. Then decorate it; this doesn't have to be very expensive. I got my supplies from Dollar Tree and Walmart. I promise you and your friends will love this Pinterest activity and become more organized.

8. Turn Those Negatives Into Positives.

Got a couple negative thoughts? Look on Pinterest for some positive counter thoughts. Sometimes you just need a list you can go to when you start to get stressed. Hop onto Pinterest and see what advice these images have to offer you!

9. Daily Quotes.

Having positive quotes to read throughout the day can really help you during tough times. It's good to have that type of energy around you. Pinterest has an unlimited amount of pins like this one.

10. Tis The Season To Be Creative.

What better time to explore Pinterest and let your creativity flow than Christmas? There are numerous projects available for you to do. You can make these fancy pop up cards or create handmade gifts for everyone. Either way, it is all fun to do at this time of the year.

Pinterest is so fun and engaging. I haven't even covered all of the other wonderful pins there are. Try to take the time when holidays come around to be creative and find fun activities to do with family and friends. Start a Pinterest club or join one.

No matter what, it's all very fun!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
