We all have made a New Year's resolution to lose "X" amount of weight at least once. Rarely, do people actually go through and make a commitment to work out more and eat less. Instead, this year set some realistic and beneficial resolutions that don’t focus on your outward appearance.
1. Focus on work/school.
Study, go to office hours and watch the A's roll in!
2. Volunteer!
Donate your money or time to charities and those less fortunate!
3. Spend more time with family.
After all, they have fed, clothed and watched over you since birth!
4. Keep your room clean.
Try to vacuum, dust and fold laundry at least once this year.
5. Save money.
Start saving your money for a rainy day.
6. Read more.
Do you remember what reading for fun is like?
7. Drink more water.
Stay hydrated!
8. Stay organized.
Where is my *fill in the blank*? Next time, keep everything in your possession, including clothes, CD's and word documents organized.
9. Learn something new.
You could learn to ride a unicycle, how to knit, make a GIF... the list goes on.
10. Stay informed.
Try watching, reading and keeping up with news. As the quote says, "today's news is tomorrow's history."
11. Stop procrastinating.
“Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today," - Benjamin Franklin
12. Reduce stress.
Take a break every once and a while.
13. Go to sleep early.
And, get some well-deserved beauty sleep.
