Ah, yes. Just when you thought your winter blues were ending. You jetted off to a ~tropical~ destination to forget about schoolwork and the dreary weather back home. But then, you suddenly get dropped straight back into it and begin to suffer from PSBD (Post-Spring Break Disorder). Symptoms include the inability to focus on anything except how soon is too soon to post your #TBT Insta. Here's how to combat it.

1. Post the #TBT Insta.

It'll make you feel better for, like, a second (at least.)

2. Make a bangin' new summer playlist

The perfect alternative to listening to your spring break playlist and getting in your feels.

3. Shop online for summer clothes

4. Remind yourself that you no longer have to worry about your spring break bod!

5. Subsequently, eat whatever the heck you want

Seriously, you don't have to wear a swimsuit for a few more months.

6. Make a Pinterest board for all the fun things you want to do this summer

7. Actually focus on your schoolwork

8. No seriously, you'll feel better if your grades improve

9. Tell your parents that there has to be some correlation between your newly improved grades and spreak

Believable, right?

10. Go out and have a good time to celebrate your grades

11. Repeat every week until it's summertime

Work hard on weekdays, play harder on weekends.

12. Forget that this was even about spring break

13. Just do well in school

14. Plan next year's trip

And you're golden!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
