On first glance, Bitmojis just seem like adorable cartoon avatars that help you express your emotions where emojis just don’t cut it. However, if you’re one of the many people in the world, like myself, who is obsessed with Bitmoji, you know that they are so much more than that. With their broad array of emotions, endless outfit choices and appreciation for pop culture, they are the perfect mini-me for every texting lover. Do you love your Bitmoji so much that you consider it an important aspect of your personality and being? If so, here are 14 things you are sure to relate to when it comes to your Bitmoji addiction.

1. You’ve spent more time scrolling through the pages to find the perfect Bitmoji for your current situation than it would’ve taken you to just type out a response.

You know that it’s worth it though.

2. Choosing between Bitmoji and Bitstrips style was one of the hardest decisions you’ve ever had to make, but you probably chose Bitstrips.

Bitstrips is just better, okay?

3. You become appalled when someone tells you they don’t have a Bitmoji which leads to you forcing them to make one.

How can somebody live their life without a bitmoji? How do you express emotions through text? No sir, emojis are not enough.

4. You get genuinely offended when someone tells you that your Bitmoji doesn’t look like you.

It feels like they’re insulting your real life child when people say this.

5. You’ve also spent many occasions pulling up photos of yourself and comparing them to your Bitmoji to make sure it’s accurate.

Even its eyebrows are exactly like yours.

6. Everytime you use it you feel like Lizzie Mcguire with her cartoon character.

All of your childhood dreams are finally a reality.

7. Deciding on an outfit for it sometimes seems more important than deciding on your outfits in real life.

Your Bitmoji deserves the best. If you’re anything like me, your Bitmoji looks like it just stepped off a Fashion Week Runway or just went on a major shopping spree, yet you’ve worn the same t-shirt to class two days in a row.

8. You rarely text people words anymore unless you absolutely have to.

Why type it when your Bitmoji can say it for you?

9. When Snapchat added Bitmojis to the sticker keyboard you were happier than Christmas morning.

This was one of the best app updates in modern history.

10. You’ve memorized the locations on the keyboard of your favorite Bitmojis.

After scrolling through tons of unicorn farts and walking pizzas countless times to find the perfect Bitmoji, it’s hard not to remember where they are located.

11. You always offer to set up your friend’s Bitmojis and make them look identical to them because you’ve become strikingly good at it.

It’s one of your favorite hobbies and makes you feel like an artist when you do it. Your Bitmoji skills have made you claim to know people better than they know themselves.

12. You’ve found multiple Bitmoji scenarios that you really want to use and are patiently waiting for the right opportunity to do so.

I’m still waiting for the right opportunity to use the left shark.

13. The only person that you know who is more dramatic than you is your Bitmoji.

You think I’m a drama queen? Check out my Bitmoji.

14. You can’t imagine how you texted before without it.

Seriously, how did we even communicate?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
