“What’s mine is yours” takes on an entirely new meaning when it comes to living with your best friends. From nonstop sleepovers to random dance parties, to sharing food, you know these 14 things if you live with your besties.

1. You never lock doors.

You’re all so comfortable with each other that it’s like living in one giant room. This is mostly nice, but sometimes you seen A LOT more of each other than you ever planned.

2. You text and FaceTime each other from your own beds.

Yep, walking 10 feet to each other’s’ rooms is just a little too must effort - especially after you've seen something juicy on Snapchat or Insta.

3. You have your own getting ready routine.

Roomie 1 shares her closet, roomie 2 does everyone’s hair, roomie 3 does the makeup and roomie 4 blasts the killer playlist.

4. You always have someone to cuddle with.

And sometimes you even stay up so late watching movies and cuddling, you fall asleep. Sleepovers every night!

5. You share clothes.

Ever since moving in together, your closet has doubled, tripled or even quadrupled in size. Need the perfect top to go with your new jeans? Want to go for your less-than-typical boho vibes for the day? Need some sweats to match your oversized T? Don’t worry – your roommates’ closets (aka your other closets) are literally only steps away. Plus, holidays and birthdays are the best because whenever they get a gift, you do too.

6. You share food.

If you thought sharing clothes was nice, you know it’s even better that you get to share food. Don’t feel like cooking? Don’t worry; your roomie will cook for everyone tonight and you can cook for everyone later in the week.

7. Honestly, you just share everything.

Sharing clothes and food are just the minor things. When you live with your best friends, there are no secrets. Ever. You all basically live in each other’s heads and it’s a little scary how much you know about one another.

8. You have Netflix shows that you can only watch together.

We all have those shows that we wouldn’t dare skip ahead in if our roommates aren’t home. They’re your (you + the roomies) shows, and they consume half your conversations with each other.

9. You’ve accepted that one of you is always going to be the cleanest one out of the entire group.

And we appreciate your need to vacuum at all times of the day SO MUCH.

10. Staying in on the weekends never feels like staying in.

Want a low-key night? Living with your best friends ensures that even when you’re not in the mood to do anything, you can still have a great night.

11. Dance parties occur on the regular.

Cue the AMAZING late '90s/early 2000s playlist blasting as loud as possible, with you all singing even louder.

12. You basically do everything together.

And it works out so well. If you do everything together, you only ever need to use one car, which saves so much money – and in college, that’s a #majorkey. Oh, and you get even more quality time with your favorite people!

13. You have the same friends.

Whenever one of you makes a new friend, that person automatically get inducted into your squad. Your friend group has never felt so big!

14. You’re already planning to live together when you move to your next place.

Being roommates for a few years wasn’t enough… can we live together forever?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
