It’s almost here again...the day all single girls dread. It’s Valentine’s Day.

This can be a hard day for anyone, especially the ones who are recently single. We see all the other girls getting bouquets of flowers and giant teddy bears, but Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romantic gestures. You don’t have to be in a relationship to celebrate the day of love. It should be spent with the ones you love, even if that means just hanging out with your bestie for the day. Here are some fun ways to spend V-Day and spread the love!

1. Go out to dinner with your friends.

.

Take your bestie out on a dinner date and celebrate your friendship.

2. Raid the store for Valentine’s Day candy.

Stuff your face with all of the candy that goes on sale the day after Valentine’s Day

3. Put on the cutest outfit you can find.

Slay, girl.

4. Go shopping for more cute clothes.

Shopping always makes us feel better.

5. Get your hair and nails done.

Pamper yourself and forget about the world for a little while.

6. Go bowling.

Have as much fun as this porcupine and beat all of your friends at bowling.

7. Binge-watch romantic comedies with your friends.

Laugh at all of the cheesy romantic scenes with your girls by your side.

8. Visit all of the adorable puppies at an animal shelter.

Nothing’s better than puppy love.

9. Go ice skating with your friends.

Have fun with your friends while not trying to fall on your butt.

10. Throw an anti-Valentine’s Day Party.

Get all of your anger out and whack that heart piñata.

11. Do something your ex hated.

My ex hated seafood so I’m going to make my way over to Red Lobster.

12. Have a sleepover.

Dance around like idiots and forget all of your problems.

13. Give out candy with love notes on them to strangers.

Be like Spongebob and spread the love.

14. Tell the special people in your life how much you love them.

Don’t forget about the ones who are always there for you and remind them how much they mean to you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
