14 Things I Wish I Could Never Do Again

13. Open my full fridge and say "There's nothing to eat!"

14 Things I Wish I Could Never Do Again

You know how it is - every once in a while we have to deal with a part of life that just isn't fun. We catch a cold and lay on the couch thinking "Why me?!" It feels like the end of the world every time we sneeze. But on the bright side, these unpleasantries build character and make us stronger. As for this article, I've come up with a list of things I really wish I would never have to do again.

1. Catch a cold

Colds (or any illnesses) are never fun. That includes the innocent bystanders who get the crap scared out of them because of your sudden sneezes.

2. Gain weight

Pizza, french fries, ice cream, pasta, cheesesteaks, cheeseburgers... It's all so delicious. Too bad we can't eat as much as we want and never gain an unwanted pound.

3. Work a crappy job

We've all had those a**hole bosses who we'd like to tell off the moment we quit. Or, as many of us have experienced, we've dealt with rude customers in the worst retail situations. We would all love to give them a piece of our minds as we march out of the store in a blaze of glory.

4. Go broke

They say money doesn't buy happiness, but every moment I've been financially secure, I've been as happy as a clam. Just saying!

5. Put myself down

Don't we all wish we had the confidence of Beverly Goldberg? She puts herself out there no matter what. Maybe we all should throw on some parachute pants and shoulder pads, curl out hair to high heaven, and just enjoy our lives! Putting ourselves down for the littlest "flaws" gets old. Have some confidence!

6. Make a student loan payment

We would all love to burn out student loan bills before they even start. How do they expect us to pay thousands of dollars on an entry-level salary - if we're lucky to get that much of a job? Like this poor kitty's food, our money disappears as soon as we get it.

7. Bury a pet

Many of us have been there. That terrible day when we have to say goodbye to our best friend. Often times, we say we never want to go through that again. Yet, we grieve, we recover, and we find a new animal best friend. They are an important part of life. And we love them for every moment our dear pets give us.

8. Doubt my abilities

We've all been there at one point. Whether it's a class presentation, a big job interview, or a semester full of major classes... Let's think of the ratio of how many times we've come out triumphant and how many times we truly failed. Most of the time we are successful. Let's focus on those moments of success and keep pushing forward!

9. Question my future

Show of hands, how many of us have spent late nights pacing holes in the floor because we're not sure if we're going in the right direction with our educations and our futures? Wouldn't it be great if we could look into a magic orb and know if we will be successful and happy?

10. Go to a funeral

Let's be blunt here... Going to funerals are never pleasant, whether it's your favorite grandparent or an estranged uncle twice removed whom you never met. Life would be better if no one died.

11. Pay a car repair bill

**Check engine light comes on** ... My thoughts: "Eh, it's fine...."

**Gas tank of E** ... My thoughts: "E means 'eight more miles,' right?"

12. Stress over finals week

Enough said. Am I right??

13. Open the door of a full fridge and think "There's nothing to eat..."

We've all been there. Whether we're procrastinating homework or just bored at home, no matter how full the fridge may be, there never anything to eat.

14. Suffer through a break-up

Breakups suck. Big time. But if we're all as will-powered as P!nk we'll survive it like a champion! Yea? Not quite? Okay.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
