Disney World, also known as the happiest and most magical place on Earth, truly stands for its name. Lots of fun, memories that can be made that will last a lifetime, et cetera. But for me, I was lucky enough to go to the Orlando theme park twice.
Once as a high school freshman with my high school band and orchestra program.
Next as an incoming college freshman with my family.
But when it came to being at Disney (I'm in Universal Studios as I write this), I noticed similar feelings that I felt four years ago during the five days I was there.
Here are 14 of them.
1. Hollywood Studios still wasn't my favorite.
2. I screamed on the Tower of Terror. I am not ashamed to say that.
3. Star Tours was a blast. Yes, I grew up loving Star Wars.
4. Epcot still remains one of my favorite parks to this date. Magic Kingdom is a close second.
5. IllumiNations is still a brilliant fireworks show. 6. Test Track and a lot of decision making. Also arguments when designing your car.
7. Different languages are spoken everyday. My mom told me she heard four different languages within an hour.
8. The countries still amaze me. Like how many times can you say you visited different countries in one day?
9. Expedition Everest also scared me some. That yeti can be really scary at times.
10. Fantasmic! was also a brilliant show still. I mean, the dragon from Sleeping Beauty had me in awe so many times!
11. Met a couple characters (maybe a little more this time around than last time. I almost cried meeting Belle).
12. Mad Tea Party still got me dizzy. A very merry merry unbirthday to me. Both time sheets.
13. Space Mountain was a blast. Growing up 45 minutes outside Cedar Point, I love rollercoasters.
14. The fireworks made me cry. End of story.
I guess I never did grow up on the inside like Peter Pan did. At fifteen years old and at eighteen years old, I felt the same. I guess that's the beauty of Walt Disney World, it's a place where you can feel like a kid, and wish upon a star because it makes no difference who you are.
