Sometimes, every now and then, it is a good idea to get out of the house and do something you normally wouldn't do in your everyday life. Changing the routine up is quite healthy for you, your friends, and even your significant other. Regardless of who you are going with, or even if you are going out on your own, an adventure is always a spectacular idea. An adventure could be something small and simple or something extraordinary, but the best ones are always spontaneous--so don't worry about planning weeks ahead. For a little push in the right direction, here are a few spontaneous adventures to add to your bucket list.

1. Go Cliff Diving

Seriously, just find a cliff with water (make sure it's deep first) and jump off of it--automatic fun.

2. Leave your house at midnight and just drive in whatever direction you feel like going.

Driving without a destination is relaxing, but be sure to bring a GPS or someone with a sense of direction to lead you home!

3. Go stargazing.

It's a whole new world, and it's beautiful. If you're lucky you will see a shooting star. Make a wish!

4. Go hiking--off the trails.

A little nature never hurts.

5. Find a waterfall.

You honestly can't go wrong with a waterfall.

6. Go to a store that is open 24 hours--in the middle of the night.

It's always an interesting experience, and you come out with things you will never need--or just a lot of food if you went in hungry.

7. Take a road trip with a friend.

You will learn a lot about them if you sit in the car long enough, plus a bigger adventure awaits at your destination!

8. Go to a park.

Let your inner child come out and slide down that slide; you earned it.

9. Have a picnic.

Food. Outdoors. Enough said.

10. Dramatically stick your head out of the sunroof of a car like in the movies.

You know you want to.

11. Ride a motorcycle.

Try it at least once.

12. Go to a karaoke night.

If you're really brave, sing...or try to.

13. Go to the mall and try things on that you can't afford.

Then take snazzy pictures in them and leave.

14. Go night swimming.

Summer heat is perfect for it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
