Almost everyone in college is focused on being fit. However, eating healthy and making time to workout are challenges for us. With a Fitbit, that will all change. Whether it was a gift or you actually paid a large amount of money for one, you are obsessed with your Fitbit. The Fitbit epidemic is almost as nauseating as the Crossfit epidemic, and I am proud to be a part of it. These are 13 things only Fitbit users will understand.

1. When you leave your Fitbit at home and you feel like you wasted a day on nothing.

What’s the point in living anymore?

2. Your life pauses when your Fitbit is charging. You can’t go to sleep because it won’t log it and you can’t get out of bed because it won’t count your steps.

Can I get a redo on today?

3. People ask you how many steps you walk a day and you roll your eyes.

Please, it’s not about the steps. This is no pedometer. This is a Fitbit. I track everything.

4. You plan your food around how much you plan to burn.

I can eat one cupcake if I go to the gym for five hours.

5. When you find a friend who uses Fitbit, and you feel like you’ve found your soulmate.

Time to compete and time to win. I will end you.

6. You have convinced multiple people to buy a Fitbit because of how passionate you are towards it.

You can scan food! You can track your sleep! You log food, exercise and water! You log your life!

7. You become obsessed with your sleeping habits.

8. When you hit all your goals and feel awesome.

Who knew you could walk eight miles in a day?

9. When someone offers you free food, but you really have to calculate it.

Pizza is only, like, 10 calories, right?

10. Logging food is a nightmare.

Does this have a barcode on it? Excuse me, ma’am, can you tell me what brand of bread this restaurant uses?

11. Adding up how many calories you burn in one hour.

Why does it have to be in 15-minute increments? Holy crap, how did I burn 100 calories in 15 minutes?

12. You see the new Fitbit products and your mouth drools.

Fitbit has a smart scale that can sync automatically to your phone and calculate BMI? I. Need. It.

13. You look back on your progress, and you’ve never been more proud.

A single app has changed your life for better.

Here’s to you, crazy Fitbit users! May you always reach your goals and have fun while transforming into the best you possible.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
