Life all too often gets in the way of down time. When you sit down to work on that novel, your neighbor's car alarm goes off for half an hour. Or, when you finally get to have some alone time, just you and five episodes of your favorite television show, your mom calls. Have you ever tried to just relax but felt that you had too much to do? Do you hate going out and just dream of permanent solitude? Same.

Here are 14 treehouses that people actually live in and you wish you could live in, too.

1. Be invisible to the world in this mirror-paneled house.

This camouflaged house comes in handy when you just do not want to be bothered. However, birds often get confused and fly into it, which is a bummer.

2. Be alone with your magic potions in this house.

This house is actually nicknamed "The Witch House," which means you probably won't have a lot of people anxious to knock on your door. Perfect!

3. Cozy up with a good book in this cabin-style treehouse and just ignore society.

Can you imagine anything dreamier than being wrapped up in a blanket with a good book and the sweet sounds of pure nature?

4. Cuddle up with your love in this romantic lodge.

Such a small space isn't a bad thing when you're with the one you love.

5. Be creative in this peaceful, open-air treehouse.

Take advantage of the silence and get some writing done. Play an instrument. Knit a sweater. Paint a picture. Then, take a bath with the windows open since you don't have any nosy neighbors!

6. Dream of being in a fairytale in this one.

Imagine the kind of parties you could have here...if you liked parties.

7. Get all the pleasures of a resort, without all the people.

This place is best enjoyed with a lover and no one else. I mean, look at that private pool!

8. Shut your phone off in this quaint little tree home.

Soak in the complete seclusion from society in this treehouse. And the best part? It's actually a brewery. Free beer!

9. Enjoy some peace and quiet up in the sky.

This is basically a gothic mansion in the sky.

10. Be one with nature in this cottage.

Let the solitude energize you. Hug a tree. Befriend Mother Nature.

11. Feel like you're in the suburbs, but without the annoying neighbors.

And the annoying neighbor's kids.

12. Pretend you're a vampire in this house.

No one will bug you in this Cullenesque house. Play "Bella's Lullaby" as loud as you want!

13. Sleep all day in this house.

Yes, please!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
