Summer is in full swing, and with it is summer movie season! Whether you are jazzed to see "Finding Dory," or "The Purge: Election" year, you will undoubtedly be excited to chow down on some Junior Mints, breathe in that air-conditioned air, and enjoy your movie. We movie lovers definitely have our quirks, so sit back, relax and enjoy 13 of mine!

1. You are an expert at getting the best deal on tickets.

Matinee, student discount, reward programs, coupons, begging and pleading (no judgment, tickets are expensive!).

2. You have perfected the art of sneaking in snacks.

The only limit to what you can sneak in is the limit of your imagination.

3. Sometimes, though, you know that it's worth the obscene prices.

I'm all about that Slurpee-and-hot-pretzel life!

4. You know all the answers to the pre-movie trivia.

Yeah, I just know that Robert Downey Jr.'s first movie was “Baby It’s You.” It definitely wasn’t because I have already seen this quiz eight times.

5. But you still have to be reminded to turn off your phone.

Hey, nobody’s perfect!

6. You look forward to trailers.

Even a movie lover can admit previews can be the best part about going to the movies.

7. You have very intense opinions about the best seat in the house.

Are you a third-row, a back-of-the-theater, or a where-there-are-rails-you-can-use-as-a-footrest person?

8. That moment the lights go down is the best. Feeling. Ever.

Magic.

9. Halfway through the film and you have to go to the bathroom...

Do you suffer through, or risk missing a crucial plot point?

10. You even enjoy seeing bad movies in the theaters.

Mock, snicker, and enjoy. Just don’t throw popcorn -- it’s not the cleanup crews fault!

11. But nothing beats the feeling of seeing an incredible film on the big screen!

Magic: Part II.

12. And you walk out of the theater and everything is right in the world.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing...

13. But then you think about the trailers you just saw and you want to do it all over again!

Anyone want to go to the movies with me? I’ll bring the Junior Mints.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
