I do miss college already. I miss studying (I know that's super nerdy to say, but I'm being honest). I miss seeing my friends every day, and I miss being motivated to do work. However, the consecutive all nighters I had to pull during finals' week has scarred me deeply, and I'd rather be on vacation, learning about myself, my interests, and building my resume. Here are thirteen things I'd rather do than go back to school.
1. Traveling the world
Especially third world countries. I'd like to spread the arts such as music and work with organizations to make a difference in at least one community, by cleaning up or something as little as providing clothing or food.
2. Continuing my summer internship/job
3. Making music
Because that is the one thing that has interested me since elementary school! I've had so many phases however, music has always been a constant and I'd like to share my music with other music lovers!
4. Writing about the topics I care about
In the form of poetry, short stories, articles, and novels.
5. Planning
Out my life--present and future, academically and personally.
6. Celebrating the first day of Autumn in Montreal
A goal yet to be achieved!
7. Building my resume
Because I want to learn more and gain experience to secure a better, brighter future with a mentality that is ready to learn and adapt to any complex situation.
8. Learning new languages
Including coding languages!
9. Spending more time with family
I always feel like I'm missing out on family stuff because I'm usually studying in the library, having late classes, or catching up with friends.
10. Learning a new sport
Believe it or not, my siblings are trying to get me to play basketball. I'm more of a volleyball person though.
11. Catching up on the latest dramas
Especially kdramas, because they're so entertaining and have such amazing storylines!
12. Catching up with old friends
Although I have such wonderful new friends, I would love to spend some time catching up with old friends who I sincerely miss.
13. Attending workshops and conferences
In both writing and Computer Science.
