Football season is back! After too many football-less weeks fans around the country are rejoicing because the best season of the year has finally started. September through February is a non-stop party Thursday night at 7:00 through Monday night at 10:00. Being a football fan is one of the best things to be. The NFL season has finally started and NFL fans are coming out in full force.
1. When they release the schedule
Seeing who you're playing when and where is the first real glimpse that football isn't *all* that far away.
2. Waiting for ANY kind of games to start
There just seems to be so many days in between February and August (because when you're desperate even Pre-Season is exciting).
3. Watching all the off-season drama
Seriously, we don't care about appeals or feuds. What we really want to know about are contracts, coaching staff changes, and how practices are going.
4. When Pre-Season starts
Finally, there's some action on the field to watch.
5. And then you realize it doesn't count
So really, it's not all that exciting.
6. When you flip your calendar to September
It's so close you can almost smell it.
7. The day the roster drops to 53
Every year you're bound to see someone you love go. And reading the players goodbye post make me cry every.single.year.
8. The first Thursday night game
9. Realizing there are only two more sleeps until you can watch your team take the field
10. Sunday morning
The best day of the year is finally here
11. Putting on your gear
Sure you've worn your team apparel all off-season, but nothing beats the feeling of putting it on for the real deal.
12. Kickoff
Shameless happy dancing will be involved.
