It’s probably easier to sing your ABC’s backwards while doing flips on a scooter than count the number of places you've visited.

13 Signs You’re Hopelessly Obsessed With Traveling
We Are Travel Girls

1. Your list of next destinations has no limit.

When people ask you where you want to go next, chances are you have three or four or fifty answers. What kind of world traveler limits themselves?

2. No adventure is too big or too small.

Whether it be to a neighboring town or a country on the other side of the world, your bag is already packed for the next trip.

3. Can you even count the number of places you’ve visited in the past year?

If you’re being honest, it’s probably easier to sing your ABC’s backwards while doing flips on a scooter at this point.

4. You know the adrenaline that comes with walking the streets of a new city or wandering the fields of a beautiful country.

There’s no real way to describe the feeling of seeing somewhere new for the first time. You just know what it is and it’s the best feeling ever.

5. You’re always convincing your friends/significant other to come with you.

What could be better than experiencing the world with the people closest to you?

6. Your dream is to visit basically every country in the world.

Maybe not every country, but experiencing diverse cultures on every continent would be amazing.

7. Your friends regularly ask where you are in the world.

It’s a tough job being the friend of a world traveler.

8. You have a nickname like “X the explorer” or “X the world traveler.

See points No. 1 and No. 7 above, I’ve even nicknamed you “world traveler.” And so have your mom, grandma, Starbucks barista and church pastor.

9. You’ve mastered the art of saving and spending on the right things.

Spending money on fancy food and luxurious accommodations take a backseat to saving up for unforgettable experiences. Skydiving over a tropical destination vs. eating a $100 meal? Tough choice.

10. Each paycheck is one step closer to your next getaway.

Paychecks are no longer just paychecks – they’re your flight, Airbnb/hostel/hotel stay, food, adventures, etc.

11. You probably prefer local experiences over the touristy ones.

Knowing or meeting locals in any destination is the best because you really get the inside scoop on what it’s like to live there. Become good enough friends with them and you’ve found yourself an expert tour guide.

12. You probably have a favorite travel YouTuber/Insta celeb.

Following word travelers online is where half the inspo for your trips comes from.

13. Did someone say “travel”?

You’re in.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
