The table is set, plates centered, forks on the left, glasses filled. It's Thanksgiving time! You have the Macy's Day parade on, or football depending on who controls the remote. You sit down at the table with all of the food and decorations planned perfectly then the turkey gets carved and you dig in. You are stuffed, ready to start hanging Christmas decorations, but for many of us, the fun has just begun. Black Friday. The time of the year where there is a mad dash to get the hottest deals on this year's latest electronics or jam-packed aisles to get all the toys the little ones have been asking for. It's Black Friday: the most chaotic, yet exciting day of the season. Here are 13 signs you are beyond ready for Black Friday.

1. Thanksgiving dinner is more like Thanksgiving lunch.

You have to eat fast, doors open 6 p.m. Thursday!

2. You have prepared all month long for this trip.

Lists are made, snacks are packed. It's go time!

3. You have not played any Christmas music.

It is not Christmas time until after Black Friday.

4. You have been checking the weather daily in preparation.

Is it going to be cold? hot? raining? It is important to dress for the weather to be comfortable all night long.

5. You have been putting in extra hours at work.

You need the extra money to spend on all the great deals.

6. You know and expect a bulk of your Christmas presents will be purchased.


And you are okay with this because you can approve of the gifts.

7. You plan on getting all of your Christmas shopping done.

Friends. ✓Family. ✓

8. Your friends can't wait until Black Friday is over so they don't have to hear you talk about it.

Until next November, that is.

9. You haven't purchased anything in weeks.

Trying to save money, but at the same time, dying because you need to shop.

10. You have special Black Friday t-shirts for your shopping crew.

"Get out of my way, it's Black Friday!"

11. You have cleared out your schedule for Thursday-Saturday.

Black Friday is a multi-day event that requires preparation and recuperation, but I'm ready.

12. You are about to burst from excitement.

Black Friday is one of the most fun nights of the year.

13. You absolutely cannot wait for Black Friday!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
