15 Shows To Binge Watch After Finals

Or during finals, I won't judge

15 Shows To Binge Watch After Finals
Penn State

Look everyone, I'm going to come out and say that this is not going to be my most top notch work. It's finals, I have 2 papers (one of which is 10 pages) and 2 tests, and I'm dealing with the emotions that come with graduation. My head is full of APA citations and I actually cannot bear to bring myself to write something that is witty, political, or educational (Lyding, 2017). But since I've never missed a week, I am scraping some motivation from the bottom of the barrel to give you something. All I want to do is watch Netflix, but unfortunately, it's not one of the 9,000 things on my to-do list. So once school ends and I have free time again, here are all of the shows I'll be watching.

1. Sense8

The first time I watched this show, I watched the first season in 2 days. Now I'm trying to rewatch (as a refresher since the 2nd season just came out), and I've managed 2 episodes in like 5 days. This is probably going to be the first thing I zone out to.

2. Supernatural

I used to have an unreal obsession with Supernatural and now I haven't seen anything of the new season. Sure I got a bachelor's degree, but at what cost?

3. Once Upon A Time

The last season of OUAT I saw had Elsa in it, I am that behind people.

4. Luke Cage

Y'all I STILL have not seen Luke Cage which is a goddamn injustice. I am beyond excited to sit down and binge this is two days.

5. Daredevil

TBH this show was pretty meh for me, but I'm still gonna watch the second season over the course of a long weekend.

6. One Tree Hill

I was knocking this show out pretty quick over spring break until that one damn episode broke my heart (aka the red wedding of OTH) and I took a break. But once I'm free of academic hell maybe I'll give it a shot again.

7. Gossip Girl

This is also on the list of shows I got really into but never finished. Even though I know who Gossip Girl is, I still want to see what drama happens on the Upper East Side.

8. Pretty Little Liars

I cut ties with this trainwreck when things started getting super nutty, but I'm kind of liking the idea of re-watching this high school fave.

9. Teen Wolf

My absolute favorite TV show is ending and the final season premieres this summer. So you best bet that I'm going to rewatch it from the beginning in an attempt to mentally prepare myself.

10. Warehouse 13

Warehouse 13 was my first TV heartbreak because it got canceled. I haven't watched it since the series finale, but I'm thinking of going back and starting from the beginning.

11. Hemlock Grove

This was one of the worst shows I've ever watched but I'm going to finish it. You know why? Because I won't be in school . . .

12. Bates Motel

Also one of the worst shows I've seen (holy incest batman), but literally anything is better than writing a ten-page paper.

13. Elementary

I completely forgot about this show until my dad and I started watching it again. I have about 4 seasons to catch up on and I cannot wait.

14. Luther

Don't really know what this show is about in all honesty, but I like the main actor.

15. Orphan Black

Another favorite show is about to go into its last season (why must the good shows die so young?), so I have to rewatch my favorite creepy science drama.

So there you have it friends, a look at the TV shows I'll be happily binge watching; a bowl of popcorn on my left, and my bachelor's degree on my right.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
