It’s almost that time of year again – Valentine’s Day! The time when you may have to bring out your creative side and buy a gift or two for that special girl in your life. Unfortunately, this is not always an easy task.

But have no fear! Each of the items on this list is special in its own way and the best part is, most of these won’t break the bank! This Valentine’s Day, give your girl a gift that is unique, useful, exciting, sweet, and even maybe a little homemade.

1. Flowers

In my opinion, flowers are the most underrated gift out there. They are such a thoughtful gesture that your girlfriend will appreciate so much.

Psst… Here’s a special tip: if you’re ordering flowers for someone, google search a florist that is located in the city where you want to send the flowers, call them and place an order. Do this instead of ordering online from a service that will charge you tons of extra fees. (1-800-flowers, fromyouflowers, FTD, proflowers, are all companies who will charge you way more than you should pay for!)

2. Fuzzy blanket

Winter isn’t over yet! And who doesn’t love to be cozy? Target has tons of great, comfortable blankets.

3. Candles

Not only are candles totally romantic for those intimate times, they smell great, and create a nice ambiance. My go-to store for candle shopping is TJMAXX, because you can get really nice brands for great prices.

4. Jewelry

Jewelry can be tricky, but that's why I’m here to help! Are you and your girlfriend just getting serious? Alex & Ani has super cute bracelets with cute charms. Wanting something more creative? Check out Etsy! Nothing will touch a girl’s heart like a personalized gift that shows her how much you love her. And if you’re really serious and are looking to invest in something that will dazzle your girl, check out Tiffany's or Pandora.

5. A Victoria's Secret gift card

Girls love to wear something that makes them feel beautiful and confident. With a Victoria’s Secret gift card, they can pick out something that will not only impress you, but will make them feel sexy, too!

6. Bath bombs

The hype about bath bombs is for a good reason. My favorite brand is Lush because they have such a wide variety of bath products. They all smell great, have super cool colors, and will make taking a bath fun.

Who doesn’t love a pair of cute socks?

8. An experience

Whether it’s a concert, sporting event or trip, giving someone an “experience” trip is something they will remember forever. There is nothing better than making memories with the person you love.

9. Merch

Whether she’s a huge fan of a singer, band, or YouTube star, buying merch for her and showing her that you’re actually paying attention is sweet.

10. Perfume

Sometimes perfume as a gift can be somewhat cliché, but to me, it is one of my favorite gifts. It's a classy gift!

Essential oils have so many incredible benefits like reducing stress and enhancing focus. Plus, they smell great. I’ve been using this set for a couple weeks and I’m absolutely in love!

13. A scrapbook

Whether or not you’re creative, this can be a perfect gift. If you are creative, head over to Michaels and pick up a scrapbook, some stickers, and some patterned paper. If you aren't creative, there are so many online websites that will make a scrapbook for you. Shutterfly is my favorite. You add your photos and customize the book the way you want. They print it and ship it right to your door.

Don’t let this Valentine’s Day stress you out. Instead, take my advice and get your girlfriend a gift she will actually appreciate and use! I promise she will be impressed by any of the gifts on this list.
