Between the beginning of the school year and winter break comes the only thing worse than finals; midterms. How could midterms be worse than finals, you ask? Well, students are finally getting accustomed to their new schedules and classes when midterms hit you out of nowhere. One day you have no homework, and the next you have four exams and two projects due in one week. It's not easy, but it's the reality of midterms. Here are 12 things I rather do than study for midterms (and I think we can all agree!).
1. Get a full night's sleep.
What is sleep? I don't know anymore.
2. Deep clean my room.
My room is nothing shy of a disaster, so this is saying a lot.
3. Workout.
If I could study less, maybe I could get my fitness on every now and then. Or not.
4. Turn up on a weeknight.
Forget the studying; wine sounds good, right?
5. Go back to middle school.
Ahh, the glory days.
6. Get a real job.
Even an office job might be better than constant allnighters.
7. Drive through rush hour traffic.
Drive at 5:00 PM on the interstate? Better than hitting the textbooks.
8. Binge watch the history channel.
Can you say B-O-R-I-N-G?!?
9. Actually have time to socialize.
Can anyone remind me what a social life is like right now? Thanks.
10. Forget all my passwords.
That would basically be...the worst thing ever.
11. Eat only vegetables for the rest of my life.
When the thought of eating raw veggies sounds better than school work, I think there's a problem.
12. Do laundry.
LOL, JK I don't think so.
Until midterms magically come to an end someday, happy studying!
