Pinterest is a marvelous app that has taken hold of our hearts. OK, maybe not everyone, but there are a lot of Pinterest junkies out there, and I am proud to call myself one. It has become an important staple in my everyday life, and I could not imagine how I would get anything done without it. It can help with anything from planning events, to learning recipes, to life hacks.

1. You've got a nasty addiction to DIYing EVERYTHING

Of course you could go simply buy a gift for your friend or loved one, but what's the fun in that? When you're scrolling through the site and see what you could transform into something new, it's just exciting. Like, who the hell thinks to use a potato as a stamp?

2. Your wedding is already planned

Pinterest allows you to plan every minuscule detail of your future big day, whether it be in a few months or 10 years. If you're an addict you already know what your color scheme, centerpieces, food, and dress will look like.

3. Babies

If you're crazy like me, you like to plan out every aspect of your life. So looking for pictures of babies that kind of look like you is fun. Maybe a little weird, but it's fun. Don't judge.

4. Make that board private

Let's face it, having a board of babies kind of sounds like a crazy girl thing. But. thank the heavens for privacy settings and being able to choose who sees what. You wouldn't want your friend to see your baby crazed thoughts.

5. All your recipes fail but you keep trying anyway

It happens to the best of us. No matter how clear the instructions are, if you're trying to make a face it will never turn out the way you want it to. Are those ears or eyebrows? The world will never know.

6. Future fur babies

You've used Pinterest to decide on what pets you'll have when you have your own place. Maybe this is just me but I really love dogs and I currently live in a dorm room where I cannot have puppies. So, my "fur babies" board may just be a result of that. Just look at that face...sigh.

7. Decorating

You probably used Pinterest to decide how to decorate your dorm room or apartment. As soon as you find out who your roommate will be you probably exchanged screenshots from your Pinterest account. Guess what else comes with this? More DIYs! You might even have your first house planned out too. (I do.)

8. Makeup tutorials

Pinterest is full of awesome beauty hacks, not just tutorials. You can solve almost any problem by simply typing it into the search bar. You can find things like DIY face masks and scrubs. Those products can get pretty pricey so it's pretty cool to be able to make them at home with simple ingredients like sugar!

9. A trip to the hair salon gets its own board

Whether you're getting a color and a cut or just getting an updo for prom, Pinterest will always have what you want, and more. From crazy French braids that go in spirals around your head that scare your hairdresser, to beautiful and exotic hair colors. There is just no end to the possibilities!

10. Workouts

You may be obsessed with Pinterest if you get all of your workout ideas here too. You know the ones, the 30-day squat challenges to get your booty in shape. Am I the only one that usually falls off the wagon around day six? No? OK.

11. Tattoo ideas

If you check Pinterest before trying to form your own unique idea, you're probably a Pinterest junkie.

12. Gift ideas

While in college, it's hard to go out and buy the most expensive thing every time a birthday, holiday, or anniversary comes up. Therefore Pinterest has a lovely little section dedicated to homemade gifts! They may not be the most appealing sometimes, but they definitely mean the most. But don't forget to make the board private if the person you're making them for follows you!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
