Stillwater has become home for all of us, and although we get to go back to our childhood home for Christmas, we can't help but miss Stillwater (except for maybe the parking). Here are the main things we'll all miss over Christmas break:
1. Dirty Curty's and Insomnia Cookies:
Who doesn't love cookies being delivered or eating Dirty Curty's at 2 a.m?
2. Bursar-ing Food:
You have to actually buy food with real money.
3. Being in the same building as your friends:
They're either hundreds of miles away or 15 minutes away from you rather than next door to you.
4. The parties:
Christmas or NYE parties usually never compare to a Fraternity party.
5. Going out at midnight and not being questioned:
Everyone lives in the night life, Mom.
6. Tap-in-go:
You have to actually talk to people to get food instead of using the app.
7. Aspen Coffeehouse:
Nothing will ever compare to Aspen.
8. Being Social:
Binge-watching Netflix and texting are my form of socializing at home.
9. Being able to walk everywhere:
Campus Food? 10 minute walk. Friends dorm? 3 minute walk. Food anywhere else? 15 minute drive. Friends? Hundred of miles away.
10. Not talking to anyone you're related to:
I spent 18 years of my life with the same people, I'm sure a couple of months apart wouldn't do much harm.
11. Being able to wear whatever you want and not be judged:
What do you mean I can't go out in an over-sized t-shirt and shorts? Isn't that socially acceptable?
12. The beauty of Oklahoma State University:
It's a valid argument saying, "Oklahoma State is the prettiest campus". Which it is.
