Moms, they are one of the biggest blessings that life can offer. Sometimes we need to stop what we are doing and listen to our moms — so here are a few reasons why we should.

1. She will always tell you if your makeup looks hideous on you.

And trust her on it, she has years of experience and doesn't want you to walk out that door looking like that. Because, if you do, later you're going to think, "wow, mom was right!"

2. "Don't spend money on something you do not need."

I am sure we all have heard this saying before. And when we don't listen and spend our money. You need gas, oops. You already spent your money on some cute shirt and now you don't have gas money. Your mom will say, "I told you so."

3. So if your mom says, "you deserve better," then you DESERVE. BETTER.

Don't question her and don't ignore her. Your mom only wants what is best for you.

4. She will tell you if your outfit looks slutty.

You know she will and if she does, go ahead and change that outfit because you know she will not let you leave the house like that...

5. She will always tell you to tell the truth.

Even if the truth hurts. Our moms don't want us to lie our way out of things. They want us to own up to our mistakes and take full responsibility.

6. Mom's rules - ALL of her rules - exist for a reason.

If you have a curfew, STICK to the curfew. Don't back talk your mother or you know what will happen if you do... So what if you're an adult? If you're still living at home still obey your mother's rules. I know I do. Most of the time...

7. Because you love her.

We love our moms. No matter how mad or upset we may get with them.

8. Because our moms were once our age...

She knows how it goes, she knows what we think, she knows what we plan to do. She was our age before and knows exactly how we feel.

9. She will always tell you if your butt looks too big or too small.

"Hey, mom? What does my butt look like in these pants? Is it too much or is it okay??"

10. If your mom shares her mistakes with you, it'll save you from a HUGE headache.

Whatever mistakes she shares with you, please, do not go out and make the same ones. She is telling you this because she doesn't want it to happen to you too.

11. Because moms are always right.

Plain and simple. They are and it is kind of scary how right there are too...

12. And because nobody will love you more than your mom does.

She knows what is best for you and always will. You are her little girl no matter how old you get. Her love for you is unconditional, she will love you no matter how many mistakes you'll make. She will love you no matter what you do, she will love you more than you will ever know.

So listen to your mom, listen to your mom now because you never know when God will take her home. So sit down and talk to her, tell her everything, let her be your number one best friend. Enjoy all the moments you have with her, listen to her day and just simply listen to her in general. Because.. well she's your mom.
