1. Pumpkin flavored everything

Pumpkin spiced coffee, pumpkin pancakes, my mom's homemade pumpkin roll; keep that stuff coming my way and I'll be a happy girl.

2. Coziness

Fall gives the perfect feeling of coziness. Nothing is better than snuggling by the fireplace on a fall night with a previously mentioned pumpkin spice latte and a little Netflix or a good book.

3. Boots

All kinds of boots! Tall boots and short boots and brown boots and black boots. Boots with laces and zippers and boots that you can fold over. Fall is when you can finally break out your favorite pair of boots that have been hiding away all summer.

4. The weather

Fall weather is perfect because you can walk to class without having a heat stroke or developing hypothermia. It's the perfect sunny yet breezy weather that you actually don't mind walking (or waiting for the shuttle) in.

5. Football Season

Whether you actually like to watch football, or you're just in it for the tailgates and free coffee (provided the Eagles actually win), football season is something to look forward to in the fall.

6. Apple Picking

There's nothing like picking your own apples on a crisp fall day. Plenty of orchards offer affordable prices and have other fun fall-themed activities like hayrides, corn mazes, and pumpkin picking. I would definitely recommend grabbing some friends and finding an orchard nearby for a good time.

7. Sweaters

Feel cozy and cute in an oversized sweater. You'll be especially cozy if the sleeves are long enough to swing around when you're walking. And you'll be toasty and warm too!

8. The Scenery

The burnt orange, red, and yellow colors of the falling leaves make spending time outside super enjoyable. And they make for a heck of a good Instagram post of your campus!

9. Stepping on crunchy leaves

There's something oddly satisfying about stepping on a really crunchy leaf. You've probably purposefully done this at some point to experience this pleasure.

10. Halloween

"Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it." There's also candy involved. What more could you need?

11. Classic Disney movies

All your favorite Halloween-themed Disney movies make their way back on TV during this time of year. The "Halloweentown" movies and "Hocus Pocus" are usually everyone's favorite trip down memory lane.

12. Thanksgiving

A whole day dedicated to appreciating what you have and stuffing your face with turkey and mashed potatoes. I'd like to thank the pilgrims and the Native Americans for establishing this ingenious holiday. Break out the stretchy pants!
