As this semester comes to a close and winter break commences, let’s get in the holiday spirit while also looking back at the Fall 2017 semester. It really is true that “it’s all here” at Montclair State University. Whether that is good or bad is up to you, but here are some of the popular experiences we have all had while attending MSU this past autumn.

To the tune of the Christmas carol “12 Days of Christmas”, here is the relatable “12 Days of MSU”:

On the twelfth day of the semester MSU gave to me:

Twelve expensive textbooks

Eleven fire drills...

Ten events in the quad...

Nine play productions...

Eight hours of sleep (yeah, right)...

Seven free t-shirts...


Six bonfires...

Five parking tickets...

Four petting zoos...

Three scholarships...

Two dining halls...



and a Red Hawk in a tree!!!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
