On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Grinch Hot Chocolate

Found Here. This recipe is fun for the whole family, and if you're having a girl's night close to Christmas, there is an option to make it "naughty" by adding peppermint schnapps and vanilla vodka. For the "nice" side of it, vanilla extract and peppermint extract should work well, if you can find it.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Snowman Cake Pops

Found here. This is a cute recipe to try with little siblings or to serve to a classroom full of first-grade students. Aren't these snowmen just the cutest?

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Christmas Crack

Found here. This is such a great recipe for taking on the go (or eating alone while watching Gilmore Girls). If you love Chex mix and all of the versatile things you can do with it, this is a recipe for you!

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Rudolph Peanut Butter Cookies

Found Here. This is a cute recipe to try for a themed party or to create with your siblings or children on a fun Saturday morning. Don't these look adorable?

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Frosted Sugar Cookie Dip

Found here. This is a great dip recipe for family and company Christmas parties. Move away from the traditional cream cheese chocolate chip ball and graham crackers and move toward a sugary treat that will be gone before the end of the night!

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Santa's Reindeer Chow

Recipe found here. You've seen a recipe for this floating around Facebook. This, like Christmas Crack, is a great recipe for eating either with your kids, taking on the go, or while you're by yourself watching Sons of Anarchy. It takes a little while to make, but once it's done, you'll be wanting to make it over and over and over again.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Cookie Dough Stuffed Fudge

Found here. If you're a fudge lover and a cookie dough lover, this recipe is for you! Great for company parties and family parties alike, you'll wow your peers with how yummy this tastes.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Cream Cheese Mints

Found here. These are sweet treats to pop in your mouth and let them melt on your tongue!

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Christmas Popcorn

Found here. This is a scrumptious recipe for Christmas movie nights or for family Christmas parties alike!

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Lumps of Coal

Found here. Made of Rice Krispies, these are great for teaching children about the art of giving. Plus, they're so cute! Lumps of Coal is the perfect interactive activity for kids.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels

Found here. This is a good hands-on treat for school Christmas parties, as well as to just have around the house. I've had pretzel treats similar to these and let me tell you: they're absolutely delicious!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

Found here. The look incredibly delicious and they could easily melt in your mouth!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
