When somebody says "best friend", the first person that comes to mind is probably the one that you've been with for as long as you remember. It started out as a plain old friendship, and the two of you started doing weird and memorable things as the years went by. Now it's been more than a decade, and the two of you do even more weird things than you ever would have thought.

1. You text each other saying "Here" (or just randomly show up and sit on their porch).

It's completely appropriate to just show up at each other's houses. Especially when the entire family is over.

2. You have their fast food orders memorized.

Every time you decide to reenact #1, you stop at your favorite fast food chain and order for both of you. Because sometimes, you know your best friend better than they do.

3. Your conversations with each other's family are always worthwhile.

As much as you have to catch up your best friend on whatever has been going on... the second family has to know too. It usually ends in deep conversation, a few tears, and lots of hugging.

4. You've injured each other multiple times during games of Mario Party.

It's always fun when you beat your bestie at a mini-game and get a plastic bottle thrown at your face. But the blood is all out of love, so it's okay. You forgive each other and go back to Mcdonald's for the third time that day.

5. "What are you doing tonight?" "Going to your house"

Sometimes you make plans for each other without informing the other person. It's especially fun to do this when your bestie has to cancel their plans for you..

6. You've seen your go-to-movie about a thousand times. And it doesn't get old.

The 2 of you have countless inside jokes over the same movie. Often times when you reference this in public, people look at you confused.

7. You've been annoying each other's families with dumb songs that you wrote together.

Since your younger years, you've written ridiculous songs and sing them around each other's houses while making food, pacing, talking on the phone, peeing and playing video games. Or in the middle of conversations, that happens too.

8. You look forward to referencing the same YouTube videos every time you hangout.

It starts with a J and I'm not telling you.

9. You've hungout at each other's houses without anyone home.

You're always welcome, even if you're hanging out with the dog or watching Freaky Friday.

10. "Attachment: 24 Images"

Anytime you get in a text argument... you have to update your homie.

11. You sit in your college dorm room missing those times from grade school with each other.

Sometimes before you go to sleep, you watch stupid videos you took with each other or make an Instagram appreciation post. Even if you don't, you miss your best friend beyond words.
