Whether you love to hate her or hate to love her, Taylor Swift is one of the most well-known celebrities of our generation. Although she has her critics, here are 10 times you undoubtedly fell in love with T-Swift.

1. When she perfectly described the guy who doesn't even know you're alive

This was Taylor's very first hit, "Teardrops on My Guitar." Even though I was only in middle school, I really felt like I could relate to this song. She established herself as the girl-next-door who absolutely everyone could be friends with, and absolutely everyone wanted to.

2. “Imma let you finish... But,"

Ah, the moment we all really fell in love with Taylor Swift, the infamous 2008 VMAs Kanye West moment. All of her fans were ecstatic that she won, but also felt for her when her moment was taken by none other than Mr. West himself. On this night, she also taught us retaliation isn't always in our best interest. She went on to become America's newest sweetheart, never speaking poorly of Kanye after the incident.

3. And when she forgave him so gracefully.

I don't know about you, but if I was Taylor, I would've just retweeted all of the questionable things Kanye has to say for the rest of my life. I mean come on, he tried to ruin one of the best moments of her life! Instead, she made light of the situation and even became friends with Kanye (that is, until he decided to run his mouth again).

5. When her girl gang was friendship goals in the "Bad Blood" music video

Taylor single-handedly reinstated the "girl code" which had been lost upon us for so many years. She proved that if you mess with one, you mess with them all. Who wouldn't want to be a part of this star-studded, loyal friendship group?!

6. When she taught us to just "shake it off"

In the awesome music video for "Shake It Off," Taylor kindly reminded us that no matter what, you cannot please everyone. She showed us that making fun of yourself really is fun, because you should never take yourself too seriously.

7. When she shows her unapologetic hatred of guys who didn't treat her right

Although she gets criticized for this, I truly think this is one of her best qualities. She has taught young women around the world that they deserve better than the types of guys she writes songs about. Not only does she gets over her mistakes, she makes millions off of them.

8. Her overall sweet, caring disposition

You will rarely find a more charitable, down-to-earth celebrity than Taylor Swift. Whether she is visiting a children's hospital, meeting her fans, or donating to Ke$ha during her time of need, Taylor Swift is a damn good person and everyone should know it.

9. When she empowers young women to be proud of themselves

Taylor's acceptance speech at the 2016 Grammys was of course, nothing shy of perfection. She took the opportunity to remind women all around the world that their success is theirs. In a world where there is still a wage gap, this needed to be said.

10. When she dances (incredibly awkwardly)

Hm... Maybe multi-millionare recording artists aren't so different from us after all.

11. “You are not damaged goods just because you’ve made a few mistakes.”

In this inspiring speech from her latest tour, Taylor shares her wisdom with everyone who attended her show. The video speaks for itself- watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZFEOuhiilo

Keep doin' you, Taylor!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
