With streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, there are so many addictive shows out there for us to binge watch that it's hard to keep up with them all. And out of all of these different shows, most of us have that one particular series that we deeply miss, that no other show can compare to. For me, it's always been "One Tree Hill." As much as I loved "Gossip Girl," "Friday Night Lights," and "Pretty Little Liars," there was just something about OTH that really played with my emotions and even had me bawling my eyes out sometimes. Here are some of those instances:
1. When Dan says he wishes Lucas had never been born
And to make matters worse, Lucas overhears it.
2. When Peyton deals with her mother's death in reckless ways
She constantly runs red lights on purpose to try and understand how her mom could wreck and die from doing it just once. It's one of the most heartbreaking things to happen in this series.
3. When Haley leaves Nathan behind to go on tour
And with that narcissistic weasel Chris Keller, nonetheless. Even when Nathan goes all the way to Texas to get her back, she just turns him away.
4. When Dan shoots Keith
His own brother! How anyone could do something like that is beyond me. Not to mention the fact that Keith was going to marry Karen, the love of his life, and be the stepfather to Lucas, the kid he helped raise because Dan didn't want him.
5. When Nathan's loan shark runs over Haley
And on top of that, she was pregnant!
6. When we find out Clay's past
And he still talks to his dead wife and you see the flashbacks of her death and you just dissolve into tears right there.
7. When Crazy Katie shoots Quinn and Clay
And then they're both in comas and it looks like Quinn's going to live and Clay isn't and you pretty much cry nonstop until Clay finally wakes up.
8. When Logan and Clay realize they're actually father and son
And the new relationship they form because of it.
9. When Xavier kills Quentin
That poor kid was finally turning his life around and just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
10. When Julian accidentally leaves the babies in the car
The babies are perfectly fine and Brooke forgives him, but imagine living with that kind of guilt.
11. When Dan dies
Who knew we'd actually be sad about that? But once Dan becomes a genuinely good person, the last thing you want is for him to go.
