There is nothing worse than getting excited because your phone is ringing only to see that it's a number you don't recognize. The only thing that makes this situation worse is when you actually do pick up the phone only to hear "Kaylie" from "Tropical Island Vacations" telling you that you've won a free vacation to the Bahamas.

Whether it's someone telling you that you've won a free vacation, there's something supposedly wrong with your taxes, or you have mysterious money coming your way, all these calls make us want to rip our hair out. These are 11 thoughts you have when you get one of those ~free trips to wherever~ calls:

1. OMG, one of my friends must be calling to make plans

Nope, they're not. It's an unknown number trying to scam me.

2. Hm, that's weird I don't have this number saved

I don't have it saved, but I'm going to answer anyways.

3. I shouldn't ignore the call, it could be something important

I'm definitely going to answer.

4. NO! WHY ME?

"Hi this is Sandy from Island Living, you've won a free trip to the Bahamas!"

5. OMG I WON

Oh yeah, go me! I usually never win stuff.

6. Wait, this is a recording...

I was just so excited, but now I know they're just tricking me. I need to stop answering these.

7. Holy ugh, I HATE these phone calls!!!!!

"OH MY GOOOOOOOOD!"

8. These people better put me on the do not call list

I will scream into the phone until I am placed on this list. I am no longer acting calm about this. I don't want to be a winner anymore.

9. Why did I just answer that?

I mean there really is no good explanation. I just should not have answered it, that's all.

10. Does the do not call list actually exist???

It has to. I just don't understand. Stop. Calling. Me.

11. I'm never answering one of those calls again

Except, I definitely will, and then I'll do this all over again.

Remember: If you do answer one of these calls, never say "yes." There have been reports of people scamming individuals and stealing their SS numbers, credit card information, etc. Be careful and as hard as it is, DON'T ANSWER CALLS FROM UNKNOWN NUMBERS!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
