Going to the gym can be such a hassle sometimes, and just being there can cause many thoughts to pop into our heads. These are a few of the very many thoughts that we think every time we go to the gym:
1. "This won't be so bad."
This is what we think when we finally make it to the actual gym.
2. "It's only been two minutes?!"
Imagine this: you're running on the treadmill, hard as ever. You begin to break a sweat. You feel like you have been running for at least ten minutes. You then look down to see that it has only been two minutes.
3. "Why are you looking in the mirror?"
Lol at the guys who go to the gym JUST to look at themselves in the mirror.
4. "Ok. I was wrong. This is so bad."
About halfway through your work out, you are exhausted. You realize the prior statement you made when you first got to the gym was completely wrong.
5. "I think I just lost 5 pounds."
After all that hard running, you feel like you have lost so much weight. Spoiler Alert: you haven't.
6. "I look like a tomato."
Walking past a mirror, you see just how red your face is.
7. "Since when was this song on my playlist?"
It never fails that a song comes on that you have never heard on your workout playlist before.
8. "Do I still have a double chin?"
After all that, you think that your double chin has just magically disappeared.
9. "Who do these guys think they are?!"
Seeing guys who act like they own the gym. It never fails.
10. "Whew. I actually feel pretty good now."
You finally get through your workout. You're feeling so good about yourself because you worked so hard.
11. "I have earned a box of doughnuts."
You walk out of the gym. Proud of yourself. You think you deserve a reward because of all of your hard work.
The vicious cycle continues. You dread going to the gym, but once your workout is over, you are feeling good about yourself again. Then you treat yo self. That's okay though because you did earn it. You eat that doughnut, girl! Just make sure you go to the gym again before next week.
