Ah, Thomas Rhett, AKA the guy most college girls want to marry. Seemingly perfect, both to look at and to listen to, Thomas Rhett is the king of country music.
In the midst of the end of the semester, finals are starting to inch closer and closer, and what better way to get through this tumultuous time than with some Thomas Rhett lyrics!
1. "Let's party like we're on vacation."
Except not yet... because we still have finals... unfortunately...
2. "I know you could probably tell me right where I went wrong."
Yeah, I'm sure my professor can tell me exactly where I went wrong on this exam once he or she grades it, but that doesn't really help me now, does it?
3. "If it wasn't for the speakers in the door telling me a truth I haven't ever heard before."
Is there like a learning history 101 podcast we can get going up in here?
4. "I never had something that I can't walk away from."
Because you see, if I walk away from this exam, chances are I will fail this class.
5. "Tryin' to come up with somethin' smooth."
For real, though, does anyone know some words I could use to answer this question that will make it seem like I actually know the answer?
6. "And everyone's wondering and wanting to know, what's your name?"
Again, I need some help here because somehow I don't think "that one guy" is an acceptable answer...
7. "I'll go warm up the truck if you wanna hop in."
Is that an actual option right now? Can I have an actual study break?
8. "I'm dog tired by the 5:00 hour."
But guess what? I still have eight more hours of studying to go!
9. "Notebook full of bad songs I was writing."
Or at least that's what it feels like when my sloppy handwriting from the first class of the semester is no longer legible to me months later...
10. "Here in a minute, any work I got left to do, aw man I'm gonna quit it."
I said I was going to go to sleep at 2 a.m. — it's 1:59, I'm almost there!
11. "Everything that's going on is just background music."
Ambulance outside? Who knows? The only thing I know is that somehow these statistics formulas have to be stuck in my mind in six hours.
