Hey you. Yes, you with the face. I see you there. Sitting around, watching cat videos. Or scrolling through Facebook (which may include more cat videos). Either way, you're being very lazy and unproductive. Yet you’re probably stressed out because you have a million things to do right now. Let’s name some of them.

1. Homework

We always have homework to do. But you don’t want to procrastinate too much, or else you’ll be left feeling exhausted and even more stressed out.

2. Applying for internships

Internships are important. How many applications have you gotten in so far? Unless you’ve already landed one, you might want to get a move on that.

3. Putting together your reel/portfolio

It may seem like a long time before you need to make one (unless you’re a graduating senior), but it’ll creep up on you fast.

4. Call mom

She’s probably called you over a dozen times throughout the week. Just get it out of the way so you can get back to work.

5. Cleaning

Is it your week to clean the apartment? This could be the only time you have this week to do it. You don’t want your roommates getting mad at you.

6. Making travel arrangements

Are you planning to go on vacation during the summer? Be sure to book your flight and hotel now, before things get pricey later on.

7. Planning your next project

Maybe you’re looking to write your next script or shoot a new promo – whatever it is, take some time to outline it and flesh out the details.

8. Working out

It only takes an hour a day. Exercise helps the body release endorphins, which make you feel happier. So go and hit the gym before it gets crowded.

9. Grocery shopping

Even if it’s a quick run for the basics, just go and get it done before you run out of food and start craving cheese puffs.

10. Catching up on your favorite show

You still need time to relax. Plus, you don’t want to fall too far behind. Watch that one episode before you’re stuck binge-watching half a season.

11. Sleeping

Only if you really have nothing else to do (after you’ve done everything else on this list), catching up on sleep will help you feel more energized going into the next busy week.

Out of everything else there is in the world, these are the main things you should be doing right now.

Just not all at once.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
