11 Tasty Videos that Speak to Your Soul (and Your Stomach)

Back in 2009, I joined Facebook as a social media forum wherein I could communicate with friends, post videos, and, of course, like pages such as "I Broke Up With My Gym, We Were Just Not Working Out." As time has passed and I've stopped using "XD" and "rofl" in my Internet vernacular, I've also found that my primary reason for going on Facebook has shifted as well. Typically, I log in for almost the sole purpose of watching Buzzfeed Tasty videos because, literally, I cannot handle how amazing they are. There's something utterly satisfying about watching someone else cook food in an exceptionally brief period of time, and there's something even more satisfying about knowing that, hypothetically, were I to try to make these dishes, I probably could. Of course, on that note, I'm nearly incapable of cooking, so I stick to the Internet, but the bounds for my passion for Tasty videos are limitless; I simply can't get enough of them and generally wait for people to share them to their own personal feeds so that I don't actually have to do the scrolling to find them. In fact, two semesters ago, whilst studying for finals, I would reward myself for every twenty minutes of studying by allowing myself to watch two Tasty videos, which motivated a lot of my work. That said, as a Tasty connoisseur (and let me clarify by saying that by no means am I a food connoisseur... if it's cooked, it's good), I've collected a series of my personal favorite Tasty videos for your personal enjoyment. No, you don't have to thank me. Yes, I am a real hero, you are correct. In putting my money (and ideally the food from Tasty videos) where my mouth is, here are the eleven videos I've selected--which, I'll add, are catered quite literally to my taste and might not interest you in the slightest, but I think they're pretty great:

Chocolate Pretzel Pie

General Tso's Chicken

Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites

Pizza Bombs

Spaghetti Four Ways

One-Pot Chicken Teriyaki and Rice

Curly Fries

Sand Castle Cake

Ice Cream Bread

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Bread Bowl

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
