Growing up is bittersweet. On one hand you can make your own decisions and be your own person, and on the other hand it's a little scary being left to your own devices. Once you hit a certain point in your college career you feel yourself becoming less of a carefree teen and more of an adult having responsibilities, taking classes that matter to your career, finding internships and becoming a real functioning member of society. Here are a few tell-tale signs you've crossed the bridge into adulthood:
1.You realize that instead of having a million friends to go out with, you really only have a few close friends left:
2. Your idea of a great night is sitting on your couch, drinking wine and finding funny videos to laugh at with your best friend:
3. The idea of the real world is starting to sink in and you can't avoid it anymore:
4. You have to get dressed up for interviews and walk into them like:
5. You subconsciously pump yourself up before walking into an important interview like:
6. Whenever you have to pay for anything yourself you feel like:
7. When you realize you have three tests and two projects due on the same day that are all worth major portions of your final grade:
8. When you get offered a second interview you feel like:
9. You constantly feel like you're on the verge of a mental breakdown and are trying to keep it together like:
Smile through the pain folks.
10. You finally finish studying and you feel like:
11. But nothing compares to the feeling you get when you find out you passed your classes and are well on your way to possibly succeeding in life:
Stay strong my friends, adulthood may not be that bad.
