Of all the different types of relationships out there, coworker relationships are especially unique. I'm not talking about romantic relationships amongst co-workers; I'm talking about the special bond between you and another individual sharing the same agony over the seemingly never-ending workload.

Granted, there are some great and not so great coworkers out there. For those of us lucky enough to have a good crew to work with, it makes the job easier and even fun! Here are 11 things only co-workers in the restaurant business can relate to.

1. When you spot the Big Tipper

You know the customer. You know the customer very well. This is the customer that always leaves a huge tip, and you'll be damned if you don't get to this customer first.

2. When a coworker shares the tip with everyone

Yes, girl, yes!

3. When you have to wash that one dirty dish everyone hates

Nobody wants to wash this dish. But it has to be done. It's always the last one in the sink, but it's got to be done.

4. When you get to know the regulars

When you get to make The Regulars' their order, you finally feel like a real worker at the restaurant. You get bonus points if you remember their order the next time they come in.

5. When you have a rude customer

All of a sudden your inner Bon Qui Qui comes out. "We got a complicated order!"

6. Trying to find the right music to listen to while working

Rap? Country? Indie? Folk? All at once? No.

7. When you find the right playlist to listen to

FINALLY! A playlist everyone likes!

8. Throwing napkin folding parties

When the restaurant is dead, the crew has a napkin folding and stocking party. Turn up!

9. When you work with a different crew

Who are you?!

10. When you get a rush of customers

I'll get to you as soon as I take care of the 30 other customers ahead of you. I promise!

11. Reading your coworkers' minds

*Nods head* Three sweet teas, two decaf cappuccinos, one hazelnut, one caramel, and a cinnamon roll? Got it! *nods head*

12. When you close the restaurant and go home

Later, losers. See ya tomorrow night to do this all over again.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
