Siblings are your first and forever best friends. Whether it be a brother or sister, you are lucky to have them, and I'm sure you couldn't imagine your life without them! They are someone to argue with, knowing that in the end you guys will still love each other. With that being said, here are 11 reasons why my brother in particular is the absolute best!
1. He keeps me young
He is always showing me some new song or video. Even though I am only 2 years older than him, he still makes me feel old sometimes!
2. He gets me into movies for free
This is just because he works at the movie theater, but still!
3. He makes up raps with me
We started doing this when we were young, making up our own version of the spaghettio's song. Now we will just break out in a rap song whenever we feel like it.
4. He Facetimes me at college when we haven't talked for awhile
Even if we have nothing to talk about, sometimes we will just sit there in silence.
5. He goes places with me when nobody else will
Most of the time. Sometimes I have to bribe him.
6. He helps persuade my parents into things
This used to be things like letting us have sleepovers with our friends. Now it's more important things, like letting us have Chinese food for dinner.
7. He makes me laugh... a lot
He is always telling the stupidest jokes or reciting the weirdest things from videos that he finds and I love it so much!
8. He will normally drive when we go places together
This might just be because he got his license not all that long ago, but regardless I still appreciate it
9. He helps me plan surprises
I wanted to surprise my family coming home for the first time from college. He was the only one that knew about it and he kept it a secret for the few weeks I needed him to.
10. He takes the blame for things he didn't do because he knows my parents will blame him anyways
Whenever one of us siblings are doing something we shouldn't be doing, my parents typically tell my brother to knock it off without even looking to see who it was. He used to be the biggest trouble-maker so they just assume it's him. At this point he typically just takes it.
11. He always helps me unpack my car when I come home for the weekend and pack it back up when I leave again
He has come to be somewhat of a gentleman and he always helps me with no complaints.
