I am constantly listening to music. Throughout the past year or so I have come across many musicians and bands that I have grown to love -- I still wonder how the whole world doesn't know about them! Here are 11 musicians that you should listen to right now.

1. LANY-

LANY! You can't not love this alternative band from California.

2. Whosah-

Whosah is an indie-pop band from Minnesota! They are amazing and you should definitely check them out and try to catch a show sometime!

3. VÉRITÉ-

VÉRITÉ is an American pop singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. She has a killer cover of The 1975's song, "Somebody Else."

4. The Academic-

The Academic is an indie rock band from Mullingar, Ireland. If you are looking for a band to jam to, this is the one! They are going to go big places.

5. Colouring-

I saw Colouring while they were touring with The 1975 this past spring. This London band has multiple songs with an electronic sound that will leave you in awe.

6. Vesperteen-

I saw Vesperteen this past summer and was able to interview him. The band puts on a show full of passion and energy and their songs range from deep to total bops!

7. Remo Drive-

Remo Drive is another Minnesota band! I interviewed them a few months ago and since then they have continued to gain quite a following. This pop-punk band will have you headbanging all around your room.

8. Pale Waves-

Pale Waves is another band that I saw on tour with The 1975 this past spring. Although they don't have many released songs, both "Television Romance" and "There's A Honey" are total bops and you don't want to miss out on them!

9. Mom Jeans.-

Mom Jeans. is an indie rock/emo band from California. My roommate constantly has them playing in our dorm room and I've grown to love them as well!

10. COIN-

COIN is an indie-pop band from Nashville, TN! Their music is so much fun and you will be singing and dancing along to their songs in no time!

11. A R I Z O N A-

A R I Z O N A is a rock and electro-pop band from New Jersey. Give their music a listen and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! I also wrote a review on their new album!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
