11 Moments All Cat Owners Hate

Cats are very interesting creatures. Some find them creepy and too quiet, others find them to be lovable and friendly. Being a cat owner is great, and it's amazing to give any animal a loving home. However, like everything, there are downfalls to owning a cat. Here are 11 moments that cat owners hate the most.

1. When your cat sits on your lap right as you are about to get up.

Ugh really? I've been sitting here for all this time, and you just now come to sit on me as I'm about to go to the bathroom. And I'll feel guilty if I get up with you laying on me so now I'm stuck!

2. When you call your cat over and they proceed to ignore you or go to someone else.

Ouch. Thanks for letting me know who your favorite is; clearly not me. When I want you to sit with me you don't, yet when I don't want you to sit with me you do!

3. When your cat starts meowing like crazy for no reason.

Your food dish is full, you have water, and your litter box is clean. What do you want?

4. When your cat wakes you up at 3 a.m.

I'm trying to sleep. I get that you have different hours than me, but really? No need to wake me up, not even for a midnight snack.

5. When your cat gets under your feet as you're carrying a lot of stuff.

I feel like you're purposely trying to trip me! I get it, you're excited to see me, but can you please refrain from walking right under my feet until I set this stuff down?

6. When your cat decides the carpet is the best spot to puke.

Great, now I have to clean up puke and hope it doesn't stain the carpet. Why couldn't you have puked on the flooring that isn't carpeted?

7. When your cat takes a particularly stinky dump.

How can such a tiny creature take such a stinky dump? Better get the gas mask out while I clean the litter box and light all the candles I own to get the stench out.

8. When your cat tries to run away every time you open the door.

I give you a nice, loving, warm home with plenty of food and ear scratches and you thank me by trying to run away?! Excuse me while I go cry.

9. When your cat jumps on the counter or other places they don't belong.

Please get off the counter; you don't need to be up there! You're just going to get it dirty and leave paw prints up there.

10. When your cat tries to get out of your arms when you're holding/cuddling them.

You're just too cute and I can't help it! You need a hug. I'm trying to love you so please let me do so in peace.

11. When you have to say goodbye to your cat.

I don't want to leave you for the day but I promise that I will be home later! I love you and I hope you have a good day sleeping or whatever else cats do when no one is around.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
