Now that it is summer, it's a perfect time to reflect. Half of my college career is done, and now two years remain. So here are 11 things I'm looking forward to going into the junior year!

1. I'm closer to finishing debt free!

I've been really lucky to make it this far in college completely debt free. I haven't accepted any loans, and don't have to yet. So halfway through, without having any debt is really huge, and I'm really thankful to have that.

2. Moving up in living situations

After a magical journey of a medley of roommates, I've finally been able to grab a hold of a single room in a suite with the best ladies ever, and I can't wait for the memories we will make!

3. Getting old enough

Unless you were completely blessed to be 21 by now, then you are super lucky, but for the rest of us, the junior year of college means getting closer to that sweet age.

4. Saying goodbye to general education requirements

I've really had a fight with general education requirements since going into college. I know they make you more well rounded, but it's really frustrating to not be able to focus on what I want to do, however, come spring, that won't be a problem anymore!

5. Everything is the same old tricks

By now you've maintained the ropes at college, and there is nothing new to learn. I've learned the tips and tricks, and really know my way around the campus.

6. Internships and getting my dreams!

Now is the magical time when I start looking for internships and getting closer to obtaining my dream job and starting to cement a job that I want to do for the rest of my life.

7. Solidifying true friendships

While there is always time to make more new friends, I think by junior year your friend groups start to really solidify, and I'll be happy to see who my true friends really are, and being able to continue those strong bonds that I'll keep forever.

8. Knowing exactly what to expect at school events

Since having two years down, I know exactly what to expect regarding school events. No more worrying about what to do, or where to go, things like homecoming, halloweekend, and whatever comes next, are a breeze.

9. Having more free time

Even though people say it get's harder as you grow up and things get busier, I'd like to believe I've learned enough about myself and my time management that I will have more free time. I will know when I need to work, how to get it done, and have more free time for myself to enjoy the time I have left at college, and really make it count.

10. Not feeling so freshman like anymore

As fun and exciting as freshman year was, it will feel nice to feel like I'm not so young anymore. I mean, yeah, I'm still not a senior, but being a junior makes me feel more experienced and not so fresh. I feel better and more prepared, and ready.

11. I have two more years of memories to make

I've made many memories and I've learned so much from having two years under my belt, and I am excited to have at least two more years left to keep learning and keep making memories. I'm happy to be who I am and where I am at, and I'm excited it's not over yet.

There you have it! Two more years left and 11 things to look forward to going into my junior year of college.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
