11 GIFs That Explain My Stressful Weekend

Last week I talked about my lazy, relaxing weekend. Oh, how I wish I could go back and be in that position again. In less than a week, my life did a complete 360 and became intensely stressful, as I suddenly had two midterms early next week along with a ton of assignments that my professors so kindly piled onto my already-filled enough schedule. So now, here are some lovely images to represent how unbearably stressful and overwhelming this weekend has been.

1. When it first hits you that you have midterms next week.

Hmmm... how the heck did these sneak up so fast. I'm pretty sure syllabus week literally just happened...

2. When you finish class for the week and realize that Every. Single. One. Of. Your. Professors. Gave. Homework.

It's not a conspiracy theory that they all must've had a meeting and decided to pile on about 1000 assignments all at once in some wild effort to kill me.

3. When you try to make a schedule for your weekend and realize the only way to get everything done is to pull 3 all-nighters.

What perfect timing that you're suddenly exhausted and really craving a nap.

4. When you want to get started but instead spending a good hour scrolling through your phone.

Why do twitter and instagram seem so much more important right now??

5. When you set an alarm to wake up early Saturday to get work done and sleep in til noon.

Wow already off to such a great start and making so much progress...

6. When you get to a point where you have to decide if actually eating is worth the time it's going to take.

Who are you kidding, of course you're going to eat...

7. When it's already Saturday night and you realize that you've managed to get barely anything done.

How does one literally throw the whole day away? Why are you like this?

8. When you just give in and sleep because you know you're not going to get anything else done.

You really don't deserve to sleep, but too bad: you're sleeping anyway.

9. When you wake up Sunday and go into complete work mode.

You're finally making some headway but only by getting work done at the speed of light

10. When Sunday is almost over and you realize there's still so much to get done

While you managed to get some things done, that definitely does not compare to the overall workload that you planned to do.

11. When you finally look back on the weekend and realize how completely stressed and exhausted you are...

Maybe you'll be able to get some of your stuff done during the week... #whoareyoukidding

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
