Fall is finally here! The leaves are changing, the air is becoming colder, and days are getting shorter. Out of all my nineteen years of living, I have come to the conclusion that fall is my favorite time of the year. I love to watch the leaves change and the feel of cooler weather. And of course, I LOVE sweaters. So here are some new fall fashion trends to try out this season!

1. Long Trench Coat

I love how Aleyna wears her coat, with sweatpants and a cropped sweatshirt. With this added piece to your wardrobe, you can dress up any look underneath.

2. Sweater Paired With a Collard Shirt

This is one of the first looks I've tried out for the season, and I love the way it looks with a white pleated skirt.

2. Men Are Out, But Men's Wear Is In

A popular new trend this fall is men's fashion on women. Pairing a blazer with over a dress or a sweater vest paired with another collard shirt is a look that screams power in 2020.

4. Corduroy Overalls

5. The Classic Thigh-High Boots

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
