Everyone has their own holiday traditions that they have had since childhood. Our generation is big into movies, specifically Disney movies, even more specifically Halloween Disney movies. These 11 films will transport you back in time to when your only worries were what your Halloween costume would be or which candy you wanted to eat first after Trick-Or-Treating.

1. Halloweentown Movies

No matter which you prefer (personally, I think Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge is the superior), Halloweentown comes to all of our minds when we think of Halloween. I only wish that all kids can experience these movies the way our generation has. Also RIP Debbie Reynolds/Grandma Aggie :(

2. Hocus Pocus

This is one of my favorite movies ever. I got it on VHS one year for Christmas and watched it ALL the time. It's an absolute classic with witches, hidden adult humor and just the right amount of scare.

3. Casper Meets Wendy

A friendship forms between a ghost and a young witch (baby Hilary Duff!) who are pressured by their families to be evil, but want to use their powers for good.

4. The Little Vampire

Another super cute movie with adorable children. This kid is just REALLY into vampires, he ends up befriending some, and finds out they aren't too different from himself (other than the blood and sunlight and all that).

5. Coraline

Okay, this movie is actually super creepy, it's probably the scariest one on this list. A girl enters an alternate universe where everything seems great, then finds out it's all fake and her "fake mom" wants to keep her there forever, with no hope of escaping back to reality. Also, everyone has buttons for eyes, scary af.

6. Phantom Of The Megaplex

A classic Disney Channel Original Movie, this spooky film will make your nostalgia so real.

7. Monster House

Equally parts scary, funny and heartfelt, this movie is a childhood Halloween classic.

8. The Haunted Mansion

Not gonna lie, this movie scared the crap out of me when I was younger. Eddie Murphy movies are always a must, and this is a film (as well as a ride at both Disney World and Disneyland) the whole family can enjoy.

9. Twitches

Imagine meeting your long lost twin AND finding out you both have magical powers. throw in Tia and Tamara Mowry, and you've got the perfect formula for a Disney Channel classic.

10. Tower Of Terror

Inspired by the AMAZING Disney World ride, this movie is extremely underrated.

11. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

My mom is huge Peanuts fan, so during each holiday growing up, we watched the Charlie Brown Specials. Nothing brings you back to your childhood like Lucy, Linus and Snoopy.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
