After semester exams, the average college student usually feels a little burned out to say the least. But with the celebration of Christmas and all the good food and family that comes with it, one is able to actually feel human again. And with that return to sanity usually comes the motivation to improve one's self and set some unrealistic New Year Resolutions.

But not this time! Because with the help of everyone's favorite employees from Dunder Mifflin, 2018 is the year of achievable, realistic resolutions that will make you a better person! So without further ado, let's get you started on the path to improvement!

1. Cut out the negative people in your life

And what better way to do that than via shunning?

2. Lock down that "ring by spring"

Because we all deserve to have a Jim to our Pam, right?

3. Try eating healthier

Good food is brain food after all!

4. Limit your mental breakdowns

Maybe one emotional freakout every other day? Is that realistic?

5. Don't drink away your problems

Trust me, I know that finance class this semester is going to be the Michael Scott to your Meredith. But remember what happened to Meredith? She set her hair on fire. Don't set your hair on fire in 2018.

6. Remember to have fun

Sometimes you got to be the boss of dancing!

7. Start a blog

Make 2018 the year you and your witty thoughts go viral! If Creed can do it, anyone can!

8. Embrace your inner Kelly

She's one of the few people who looks hot eating a cupcake. That definitely qualifies her as your role model for 2018.

9. Take time to love yourself

College has the tendency to become overwhelming. Make sure you take some well-deserved "me" time!

10. Resist throwing yourself in front of a car

Trust me, I know there are weeks where you want nothing more than to be run over by a truck. But no matter how bad that exam seems or how behind you are on that paper, you don't have to crack your pelvis and become the face of rabies for 2018. You can do it!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
