Since we're all broke, I figured you could use a few tips for saving money and still having nice things!

Over the years, I have migrated away from shopping in malls or impulse buying in stores and have been doing most of my shopping online. Since Fall is coming quickly, I'm sure most girls are panicking to fill their closets with the latest trends/staples for the Fall season. Well this is expensive as hell so I've compiled a list of places to find these things for WAY less.

1. Boohoo.com

This is starting to become more well-known, but Boohoo is amazing! NEVER buy something unless they're having a 50% off sale, though because they have at least one a week. Make sure to subscribe to the emails so that you know when the sales are. Everything is super on-trend, and a lot of the clothing that I've received from Boohoo has been pretty good quality for the low-cost.

2. Missguided.us

Missguided is very similar to Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing. They don't have sales as frequently as Boohoo, but they still have sales quite often so make sure to subscribe to emails. Missguided also has a student discount, so no matter what you're never actually paying full price!

3. Prettylittlething.us

Pretty Little Thing is also very similar to Boohoo and Missguided. They have 50% off everything sales basically weekly as well! Subscribe to the newsletter for immediate knowledge of sales. PLT is always on cue with the latest trends so it's definitely one of my favorites!

4. Zara.com

Zara is very well-known as it is, but just a reminder of how amazing it is. The denim quality is unreal and in the Summer, you will find SO much on sale. Zara is always trendy but also has very unique pieces as well. I sometimes buy even the full priced items here because they aren't that expensive.

5. Bershka.com

Bershka is a brand I discovered in Italy. It is VERY similar to Zara, but exclusively just the younger/trendier styles. It is very chic and has high quality items. There aren't many sales here, but the regular prices aren't so bad.

6. Depop App

This app is one of my all-time favorites. It is set up like Instagram, but for selling clothes. It is much more vintage/edgy than resale apps like Poshmark or Mercari. This is the best place to find vintage Levis or old band tees for super cheap! You can even buy from outside of the country for a higher shipping rate.

7. iOffer

iOffer has a lot of "knock-off" products, so if you're incredibly against buying things that look like the designer item but actually aren't, then skip this one. Also, it is Chinese, so the shipping can take a couple of weeks, but they have nice quality items for much less. Order in advance and I'm sure you will be very satisfied.

8. AliExpress

AliExpress is in a similar ballpark to iOffer. It is very low cost, mostly low-quality items that are dupes of designer brands. This is the best website for swimsuits or cheap sunnies!

9. ASOS

Asos is another great one for back to school clothes. They have so many different varieties/brands/prices. You can basically find any trend. There is also a student discount so make sure to utilize this before check-out!

10. Pull & Bear

Pull & Bear is another one of my favorites. It is similar to PacSun a little bit, but much cheaper. It's also less bohemian than Pacsun. I love Pull & Bear denim as well as their new fall line. There are sometimes sales (mostly in the Summer) but some of the best items are full price. Most of the full-price items are at an affordable price though anyways.

These are my main sites/apps for shopping online. Most of these places have similar items so if you think something one of them is expensive, you can probably find a cheaper version of a similar item on one of the other 9. Happy shopping!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
