College is such a fun new time filled with so many new experiences and a ton of self-discovery. As a college freshman I can say that I definitely am a different person today than I was three months ago— even with that being as crazy as it sounds. It seems that everyone goes through some change, in one form or another, during their college career. Here are some things that will change once you begin this new chapter of your life.
1. You will need coffee all of the time.
The four dollar Starbucks coffee becomes an everyday necessity.
2. You have developed a constant need for food.
Here comes the "freshman 15!"
3. Your social skills dramatically improve.
You meet new people every day; you're bound to make a friend somewhere!
4. You are now tired all the time.
You cherish the five hours of sleep you get a night.
5. You become a professional note taker.
6. You become a college football fan.
Let's face it, if you weren't a fan before, you're definitely one now.
7. You become aggressive in parking lots.
8. Your self esteem takes a plunge.
You're now surrounded by a bunch of geniuses.
9. You learn how to write.
Writing 1,500 word papers is the norm.
10. You've learned how to multi-task.
Who says you can't have a little fun while doing your homework?
11. You start talking to yourself.
Nothing is better than a quick pep talk before an exam.
