So, we all have guilty pleasures.

For some it is binge watching Fixer Upper, splurging on dressed up cat posters, or having all the Nickelback CDs. For others it comes in the form of hunkering down on the couch on a Monday night with some pizza watching the ABC classic program documenting if one man or woman will be able to find the love of their life, The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Now I get into it myself so no judgements here, but after this season I have noticed some similar characteristics to another well known entertainment series, The Hunger Games.

Shall we go through them? Considering this is my article I am going to imagine you say YES PLEASE TELL US YOU KNOW SO MUCH.

1. The whole population tunes in to watch to see which ONE winner will survive.

2. Chris Harrison is Caesar Flickerman. No doubt about it.

3. At times punches are thrown in order to sabotage the competition.

had to sneak @deaniebabies in here because you know he was my #1 pick

4. All the audience knows it is wrong to be watching yet they can not stop.

5. There are people working behind the scenes to put on a good show.

6. People make friends within the show who end up leaving (little bit of a stretch considering people get killed in Hunger Games but still).

7. Emotional back stories are what win over the audience.

8. Roses are a key aspect in BOTH.

9. Someone always comes on with a "fling" they haven't entirely closed off with at home (@Gale).

10. No matter what there is the promise of it being the "most intense one yet."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
