If you are looking for homemade trinkets, beauty items, and baubles, Etsy is one of the top places to look. Etsy is an online shop where everyday people, such as yourself, can make and sell whatever they want. Items on Etsy range from candles, jewelry, and lip scrubs to phones cases, board games, and sculptures.

More great things you can find on Etsy are vintage items. You can always come across people selling vintage clothing, jewelry, and household items for cheap prices. Through the hours I have spent searching for various products on Etsy, I have come across a couple that are super special and unique that I'd like to share with you.

1. Homemade beauty

The beauty Items that you find on Etsy are both unique and just as effective as store bought beauty products. I personally have bought a couple different beauty items from Etsy including a homemade blush, rose facial serum, and a lotion. All products were incredible and beautiful.

If you are looking for more quality beauty items at a cheaper price, Etsy is my number one recommendation. Not only is extreme care put into the creation of these products, but all sellers are really good at communicating with their customers and that's something to appreciate. Also as an added bonus, all the beauty on Etsy is completely natural—something you don't find in most products you buy in a store.

2. Themed candles

I first discovered themed candles last year when shopping with my mom and sister. We found a small store that I can no longer remember the name of, and there we found these small candles named things like, "Divination classroom," and "Sherlock's study."

These candles were from Frostbeard Studio. I was able to find candles just like these all over Etsy. You can find candles based on your favorite book characters, fictional places, and more! I recommend checking out NerdieNifties for cheap and adorable nerd inspired candles.

3. Terrariums

The terrariums I found on Etsy are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. You can get them in a variety of sizes and styles. Some sellers even let you customize your own to make sure you get the exact thing you are looking for. You can also find small terrariums in necklaces and light bulbs for a more unique look.

4. Personalized items

There is a plethora of items available on Etsy that can be personalized. Some let you put your name on them, other let you put your favorite quote or saying or even a picture. Some of these items include journals, jewelry, water bottles or mugs, phone cases, and makeup bags. Keep in mind some of these personal touches may cost a couple extra dollars, but they are well worth it for the quality.

5. Desk organizers and accessories

I know that I personally wish my desk was a neater place. I wish I had a spot to put everything where it would be organized. Upon joining Etsy, desk accessories was the very first thing I searched. What I ended up finding made me so happy.

There are some very beautiful desk organizers where you can put multiple things like your laptop, a keyboard if you have one for a tablet or desktop, a coffee mug, pens and pencils, and other trinkets you may have sitting on your desk in.

Another great addition to a desk that you can find are iPhone docking stations. All of these things are fairly cheap compared to what you would find at a store.

6. Statues

Are you a fan of funky little figures? Etsy is my number one place to look at super cool and super weird statues. There are outdoor and indoor options available as well as some 3D papercraft statues available for purchase.

7. Vintage clocks

Clocks are something that I have always found fascinating. They can be made out of practically anything you can find and the selection of vintage clocks are even cooler than you'd expect. There are cuckoo clocks, retro clocks, space clocks, and even vintage hourglasses. The only downside to looking at vintage items is that more often than not, they are quite expensive.

8. Music boxes

Whether if it's just for display, or you love winding up a little box to hear a tune, you are sure to find a music box on Etsy that you like. Music can range from popular movie scores to musicals to antiques. Another cool thing about music boxes on Etsy is that some can also be personalized with a name, to make them yours.

9. Wool socks

You can find wool socks at a lot of different stores, but there is something about homemade thick, wool socks that seems to much better. The wool sock selection on Etsy is terrific and all socks have amazing reviews. You can get wool socks for babies and adults with almost any pattern you are looking for. These socks are also available as ankle socks, crew socks, or knee high socks.

10. Costumes

With so many people have skill with needles and thread, it only made sense that there would be some really cool costumes on Etsy. While most costumes on Etsy are made for children, there are also a couple options for adults including Wonder Woman, Rey from "Star Wars," as well as a plethora of masquerade masks that can be worn with just about anything.
